Take advantage of San Diego’s endless activities and great weather by taking your company or group team building activity outdoors! Our unique activities highlight teamwork and encourage creative problem solving. The most successful and memorable team building events are the ones that challenge everyone to think outside the typical workday and bring new creative solutions to the table.

We will have your group fitted with helmets and life jackets. If anyone wants to rent a wetsuit, we offer it at an additional cost. We also offer waterproof cameras and waterproof phone cases for an additional cost. Once everyone is geared up, you’ll meet your group guides for the day and go over everything you need to know for the best experience!
La Jolla Shores is an easy 3 minute walk from the Hike Bike Kayak shop and we transport kayaks and paddles to the beach for you. Once everyone is at the beach, we will do a short training session on how to maneuver your kayak and the activities/games we will be doing in the water.
Our guides will help everyone in your group launch from La Jolla Shores out to our first stop in the ocean. We will make a few stops on our way to the La Jolla Sea Caves, and our guides will share facts and history about the area. You may see leopard sharks, Garibaldi, sea lions, dolphins, and even sea turtles along the way! Ocean conditions permitting, we will guide everyone in and out of the sea cave and give you an opportunity for any photo ops. On our way back, we will give everyone the chance to swim around and even do kayak handstands!
Hike Bike Kayak can provide lunch upon request! Enjoy lunch on the beach while connecting with everyone on the beach. This is a good time to get to know other team members in different departments or have a lunch meeting!
From sand castle competitions to relay races, we offer unique beach games to encourage teamwork, communication, and a little friendly competition! Depending on the size of your company, our guides will break everyone into groups combining different departments so that everyone can experience working together.
We can provide prizes upon request! We offer gift cards to local businesses, Hike Bike Kayak merchandise, or vouchers for future kayak, bike, and snorkel tours!
