SURF LESSONS What could be more Californian than surfing! If you are a beginner, your instructor will have you surfing quicker than you thought possible! If you are a seasoned surfer, you will learn some new skills! Small Group & Private Surf Lessons in Encinitas (San Diego County) are available everyday. Reservations REQUIRED for all surfing lessons.   We use "soft" longboards for our lessons! Encinitas* (1.5 hour lessons) - Lesson times: 9am, 11:30am and 2pm Wetsuit, surfboard rental and instruction are included (tips are not included and are discretionary).   Encinitas Lessons (meet in La Jolla) Prices: $125/1.5 hours for private lessons $75/1.5 hours, per person in groups of 2-4 $65/1.5 hours, per person in groups of 4+ or more * We meet at our La Jolla Shores shop and drive you up to the beach at Encinitas. You MUST be at our shop 45 minutes prior to the start time of your lesson. We transport you in our passenger van up to Encinitas.   Moonlight Beach (Encinitas) San Diego County is perfect for surfing lessons! Our surfing lessons for beginners start in the sand with instruction on  paddling, how to 'pop-up' on your board, stance and balance. Your instructor will cover ocean safety, picking waves and of course, surfing etiquette. The it's into the surf! With your instructor's hands-on help, you practice catching waves and standing up on your board. You'll be shredding in no time! All Year Around We offer lessons all year around and provide wetsuits to keep you comfortable in the water.  What to Bring/What to Expect What to bring: swim suit, towel, and sunscreen. You can leave a towel and change of clothes at our shop. What to expect: we meet at our shop, where you will check in, sign waivers, etc. We will outfit you with a wetsuit or you can bring your own.
