San Diego Snorkeling Tour ViewsSan Diego Kayaking & Snorkeling

Swim with Sharks -- the Leopard Sharks that Is!

(He's harmless, has a 2" mouth, & is about 5' in length)

Every year, the magnificent Leopard Sharks return to the shallow waters off La Jolla Shores. We are lucky to be able to kayak a short distance, grab our snorkel gear and be mesmerized watching these graceful creatures swim among us. These are true sharks, about 4 to 7 feet in length, though they have teeny-tiny mouths and are not a threat to humans. Kids are fascinated watching the sharks swim and feed, and will be snorkeling in no time with help from our guides.

After taking in the sharks we kayak over to the La Jolla Sea Caves and watch for more wildlife. We usually see seals, sea lions and the brilliant orange state fish - the Garibaldi! Kayaking and Snorkeling Tours in San DiegoWe finish up with a trip through the Giant Kelp forest and return through the gentle surf at La Jolla Shores.
