Fireworks Paddle -- Mission Bay

Glide across the cool stillness of Mission Bay at night towards Sea World and then be thrilled watching the Fireworks Show from your kayak. Nothing is more exciting than a front row seat for this spectacular.

Fireworks Kayak Paddle: Nightly through summer and early fall.  Start time is around 8:30pm. Confirm exact time with reservation.

Cost:  $60 per person (single kayak) or $50 per person (tandem kayak)

What is Provided: Kayaks, paddles, life jackets and a guide. We use stable, easy-to-paddle sit-on-top kayaks. No kayaking experience is required.

What to Bring: Expect to get a slight bit wet. Bring: shoes that can get wet (Tevas, tennis shoes, 'river shoes' or flip flops), drip dry shorts, shirt, and a light jacket. Bring a waterproof flashlight or buy from us glow sticks, bring (or buy from us) a 'leash' for valuable glasses. You can leave a towel and dry clothes in your vehicle for afterwards. Please DO NOT bring valuables and things that cannot get wet: cell phones, pagers, car keys, non-waterproof watches, non-waterproof cameras.

Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 10 and up, must be able to swim. Minimum participants - two.

What to Expect and Start Location: Be prepared to get slightly wet! The bay water is calm, but occasionally there are splashes from wakes and it is possible, though not likely to fall in. We meet on Mission Bay where you will check in, sign waivers, etc. We will outfit you with a lifejacket and paddle. After a brief paddle and safety lesson we launch the kayaks and go. Plentiful parking and a restroom are at the launch site. Exact directions are provided with your reservation.
