San Diego Kayaking and Biking - Just for Families

This special tour was designed especially for families with younger children who might not be ready to kayak in the ocean or ride a 'two-wheeler' bike! We paddle kayaks on the calm waters of Mission Bay and then tour the gentle, smooth bike paths around the bay. The biking and kayaking are at a kid-friendly pace and families can select children's bikes, bike trailers or trail-a-bikes for the smaller ones.

Tours Schedules: (Minimum 3 people)
Weekends, 9am start time
Weekdays, 10am and 1pm

Cost:  $55 for adults, $35 for children

What is Provided: Kayaks (tandems for two people), paddles, life jackets, and guide. We paddle stable, open-top (also called sit-on-top) kayaks, no experience is required. Bikes and helmets are also provided, including bike trailers and trail-a-bikes for the young ones (see pictures of them here).

What to Bring: Tennis shoes or flip flops, bathing suit and or easy-to-dry shorts, t-shirt, hat, sun screen. Expect to get a bit wet. Bring a 'leash' for valuable glasses.

Ages and Participant Requirements: For families or groups with a minimum of 4 participants. Ages 2 and up
