Coronado Bike Tour

This tour starts begins with the Ferry Ride from downtown San Diego to the charming island haven that is Coronado. After a short bike ride past the many Craftsman-style cottages, we reach the surf of the Pacific Ocean and Coronado's marvelous ocean views  Next we take time to visit the landmark Hotel del Coronado, check out the Navy SEAL training operations on Silver Strand and return past Glorietta Bay and the striking Coronado Bridge.

Cost:  $75 per person

What is Provided: Multi-speed hybrid-type bicycle, bike trailers and trail-a-bikes as needed, helmet, water, snacks and guide.

Tours Held Daily -  9am and 1pm. (Minimum four people). Tour is about 2-2.5 hours long.

What to Bring: Comfortable shirt and shorts (pants as needed). Jacket, windbreaker or sweatshirt as required. Closed-toed shoes (sandals and flip-flops not recommended!), socks. Sunscreen. Optional: small daypack, camera.

Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 6 and up (trailers and trail-a-bikes available.)

What to Expect and Start Location: The riding is mostly flat on city streets and bike paths. The pace is leisurely and the tour includes a stop at the Hotel Del Coronado. We meet our shop in La Jolla and provide transportation to and from downtown San Diego where the ferry ride commences. On the island we get fitted for a bikes, etc. and head off cycling. Here are driving directions and a map to our shop. Free parking is available on the side streets. The spots marked ‘two-hour” parking are NOT RECOMMENDED (not enough time).
