La Jolla Coastal Bike Tour

Start from our shop at La Jolla Shores. We will ride on the bike path overlooking the ocean, through the beautiful back streets of La Jolla, through Bird Rock, Wind'nSea, Pacific Beach and then return to La Jolla Shores. We always stop at La Jolla Cove and Children's Pool on the way back and usually see quite a few seals or sea lions!

Cost:  $40 per person, $35 per person in groups of 4 or more

What is Provided: Multi-speed hybrid-type bicycle, helmet, water, snacks and guide.

Tours Held Daily -  (Minimum two people) 9am,  11am & 4pm
Tour is about 2-2.5 hours long.

What to Bring: Comfortable shirt and shorts (pants as needed). Jacket, windbreaker or sweatshirt as required. Closed-toed shoes (sandals and flip-flops not recommended!). Sunscreen. Optional: small daypack, camera.

Ages and Participant Requirements: Ages 8 and up (trail-a-bikes available.)

What to Expect and Start Location: The pace is not strenuous, but expect to do some pedaling! The tour is mostly flat, with a few hills (that can be walked up). We meet at our  La Jolla Shores shop, where you will check in, sign waivers, get fitted for a bike, etc. Here are driving directions and a map to our shop. Free parking is available on the side streets. The spots marked ‘two-hour” parking are NOT RECOMMENDED (not enough time).
